Movie Magic on Main: Golf Carts, Hot Dogs & Family Fun!

The Barnesville State Theater is bringing the magic of the movies to Main Street this summer, and you're invited!

Please mark your calendars for Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 10 AM to 3 PM for our Movie Magic on Main: Golf Cart Cruise-In! This is more than just a community event—it’s a fun-filled fundraiser to help support the continued renovation of our historic theater.

Here’s what’s happening:

• Golf Cart Cruise-In: Decorate your cart in your favorite movie theme and join the parade! Trophies will be awarded to the top three crowd favorites. Entry fee: $20 per cart

• Food Trucks: Come hungry—Martha’s and Two Stack Bar-B-Que will serve local flavor all day.

• Hot Dog Eating Contest: Test your stomach’s strength at 12:00 noon. Can anyone top the reigning record?

• Live Music: The one and only Sam Shuman Band hits the stage at 1:00 PM!

• Kids' Activities: From 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, there will be plenty of fun and games to keep the little ones entertained.

And of course, raffle tickets are now available! At just $25 each, you could win:

• $5,000 Travel Gift Certificate

• $500 Barnesville Veterinary Services Gift Certificate

• $200 Way 2 Go Travel Gift Certificate. See any Barnesville State Theater member to grab your ticket. Winners will be drawn on the day of the event!
